Hataka Hobby HTK-AS101 Modern Swedish AF vol. 1 (paint set 8 x 17ml)
High quality water-based, acrylic paints.
Early Swedish AF jet fighters (incl. Saab 29 Tunnan) wore overall natural metal livery and were to be camouflaged only in case of war. In early 1960s tests were carried out to find appropriate colours for Saab 35 Draken, as the standard olive green (Green Drab, 325M) commonly used at that time (incl. on Saab 32 Lansen) was considered too light. In 1964 the "2-colour" camouflage (328M + 438M / 058M) was introduced on all Saab 35 Draken variants plus on Sk 60 and Sk 61 of the Air Force. Famous 4-colour "splinter" camouflage was introduced onto all variants of Saab 37 Viggen in early 1970s and subsequently adopted on various Swedish AF, Army and Navy aircraft.
HTK-AS101 includes standard colours of Swedish aircraft from late 1950s till early 1990s. The set contains:
- HTK-A029 – Light Blue (058M) - Used for lower surfaces in Swedish 2-colour (Saab 32 Lansen, Saab 35 Draken, Sk 60, Sk 61) and 4-colour ("splinter") schemes
- HTK-A324 – Swedish Dk Green (326M) – Used on upper surfaces in Swedish AF 4-colour "splinter" camouflage of all Saab Viggen variants, Sk 61 and helicopters
- HTK-A325 – Swedish Lt Green (322M) – Used on upper surfaces in Swedish AF 4-colour "splinter" camouflage of all Saab Viggen variants, Sk 61 and helicopters
- HTK-A160 – Pale Brown (507M) – Used on upper surfaces in Swedish AF 4-colour "splinter" camouflage of all Saab Viggen variants, Sk 61 and helicopters
- HTK-A125 – Black (093M) - Used on upper surfaces in Swedish AF 4-colour camouflage. Also in early camouflage of some J 29F of F3 (with 325M)
- HTK-A065 – Olive Drab (328M) - Used on upper surfaces in Swedish AF 2-colour camouflage of some Saab 32 Lansen, Saab 35 Draken, Sk 60 and Sk 61
- HTK-A145 – Blue-Grey (438M) - Used on upper surfaces in Swedish AF 2-colour camouflage of some Saab 32 Lansen, Saab 35 Draken, Sk 60 and Sk 61
- HTK-A052 – Green Drab (325M) - Used for uppers surfaces of some Saab 29 Tunnan, Saab 32 Lansen and helis. With black in early camo of J 29Fs of F3
